About us
Terri
Born in South Africa, Terri moved to London at the age of 20, where she built a career in the corporate industry. Alongside this, she trained and taught yoga for several years, becoming a gong meditation teacher, Reiki master, and bio-energy healer. In 2023, Terri returned to South Africa. Since then she has trained as a tourist guide, and followed her passion for curating itineraries by establishing a tour operator company with her friend and business partner, Ali.

Being a biologist at heart and growing up in the most species rich hotspot in the world, Ali has a passion for the flaura and fauna of the Cape. His career expands from community development work to running laboratories with the intention of harnessing the medical knowledge that this region offers to humanity. Since 2014, he has led international tourists to explore South Africa and has recently become a national tourist guide. His path crossed with Terri and is grateful in forming such a friendship.
Origenes Travel
Their paths crossed training as tourist guides in Cape Town. Ali took charge of creating a study group which really helped the group learn and establish new friendships. In the same spirit of collaborating to succeed Ali and Terri agreed to join forces in setting up a new tour operator sharing their mutual passion for exploring this beautiful country and providing memorial experiences for our visitors.
